Since the main perk of MP3 players is their portability and convenience, it may seem strange that many MP3 players now are bigger than cell phones, and usually heavier as well. Many people, my mother included, have wondered aloud, “why do you need 80 gigabytes of space on an MP3 player?” Well, here’s your answer.
With that kind of space, you can store not only your favorite songs, but literally every song you own. Even some of the biggest music lovers out there won’t have to be too selective to fit every worthwhile music album and song they have on an 80 gb hard drive. Once you do so, you can take all of those pesky compact discs and put them in storage. Next moving day, you’ll be glad that you did.
Then, when you want to go to a party or when you drive a long way to visit family, you can easily transport not just a few songs, but your entire music library with you. Think about it. Hundreds of compact discs stored in the palm of your hand. Now, if you don’t think that’s cool, I don’t know what else to say.
